ESL and ESEA returns for season 3 of their pro league. Once again, bigger and better. This season will see a giant, $1.5 million handed out over the course of four months.
The ESL ESEA Pro League will have twelve teams in each division one Europe division and one North American division, who will compete in weekly matches to determine those who will advance to the offline finals in ESL's arenas, once in Los Angeles and once in London, at the o2 Arena. The top four teams of each division will advance. ESL has chosen to integrate their lowest divisions and use them as a qualifier for Premier division and the winner there gets a chance for a spot in the Pro League.
The finals will begin on the 14th of May at the o2 Arena in London, UK.
